Stop Motion is an app for, you guessed it, stop motion video. This format is really fun. I had never experimented with stop motion, but i was surprised how easy it was to create a fun little story.

There are many advantages to stop motion animation:

• It works well for groups because each person can move something every frame, and own a character.
• it encourages students to move around and interact with one another as opposed to being locked to a screen
• it doesn’t require continuous drawing which some students may be adverse to.
• collaborative aspect requires fewer ipads

The App: 9/10

you get it right away! it just prompts you to take pictures and they add up into a movie. Where it lacks is that you don’t naturally notice any features of the app without navigating deeper and there are multiple menus with novel symbols also this app is basically just the photo function of your ipad.
