This is a flipaclip alternative, which doesn’t require mac ios 10 or higher. It is roughly equivalent to flipaclip, but it lacks flipaclip’s clean simple interface. There are many menus full of options and the most important functions are buried someone hard to find. It is like someone set up a kitchen and put the cutlery draw two down.

I tried it on a ipad mini instead of an ipad. That made a huge difference to my ability to enjoy creating with it. but i tried flipaclip on the mini and still preferred it over Animation Desk.

Here is a dragon i made, but you can see the lines are sloppy because of the app, and i was having a hard time caring.
