Augmented reality

 

 

We did a class on augmented reality and using QR codes in the classroom. It is fitting as the final class because this seems like the most complex use of tech in the classroom and it’s very hardware heavy. There were some suggestions for ways to incorporate augmented reality into the classroom, but i cant help but feel that most of the fun is based on the novelty of the tech and most of the learning is around how to use it. As VR and augmented reality become more common place, this type of class will be more accessible to student and educators. As it stands I cannot see myself trying to use augmented reality into my classroom, unless the equipment is easily available and students request to use it.
