Running the juicing station at the Metchosin Apple Festival has turned into a fall ritual for me. A group of kids who started as visitors to the festival years ago, are now buddies with me and it’s nice to see them every year. The festival is a big hit for kids age 3-10 and it is fun to try and engage them in the juicing process. A lot of kids love it! And we give away all the juice for free.
